1. The Margi Hotel
The Margi Hotel is just from another world. This hotel is like heaven on earth. It is located in the Athenian Riviera in an area called Vouliagmeni. The place offers some amazing swimming pools and a five-star relaxation. In the same time, you can enjoy some private beaches and lots of … sun. You can combine this with some nice Greek food. The five-star experience that you will never forget.
2. Theoxenia Palace
Theoxenia Palace is probably the best hotel located in the Kifissia suburb of Athens. Since most of the hotels in this list are located in either the Athens Riviera or the downtown area, Theoxenia Palace is a nice option if you want to stay in this part of the city. Theoxenia offers an amazing stay to its visitors. The interior of the hotel is really classy and you will definitely feel like a millionaire (if you are not).
3. Astir Palace
Astir Palace is one of the best, maybe even the best hotel on the Athenian Riviera. The complex actually has two separate hotels – The Luxury Collection and The Westin Athens Hotel. Both places are amazing and both of them offer unbelievable experiences. The whole complex spreads on around 75 acres, so as you may guess, in the complex you can find everything. In the same time, you can even use some of the shuttles to the downtown area.
4. Sofitel Athens Airport Hotel
If you are looking for an ”easy to reach” and luxurious hotel than Sofitel Athens Airport Hotel is perfect for you. As you may guess from the name of this hotel, it is located just next to the Athens airport. This hotel is perfect for people who do not want to sleep in the middle of the city, but at the same time want to visit all the interesting attractions in Athens. Sofitel has an ongoing promotion, so if you are lucky you might even get a really affordable five-star experience.
5. St George Lycabettus
The St George Lycabettus is my favorite boutique hotel in the downtown area of Athens, Greece. This hotel also offers some spectacular views of the center area of the capital of Greece. This hotel is perfect for families and if you are going to visit the city with your family and in the same time you want to experience a five-star comfort, St George Lycabettus Hotel is for you.
6. NJV Athens Plaza
NJV Athens Plaza is another luxurious hotel located in the downtown area of Athens. The hotel is really modern and with an innovative interior. Not like many of the other hotels that are close to the Acropolis, NJV Athens Plaza is only 30 years old. Of course we are talking about the building itself, but still, you can feel the modern lifestyle.
7. Divani Apollon Palace
The Divani Apollon Palace & Thalasso is one of the best hotels on the Athenian Riviera. The area is not exactly in the downtown part of the Greek capital, but it is still pretty convenient for the tourists who came in Athens not only to enjoy the beaches but also to visit the historic landmarks. Divani Apollon Palace has an amazing private beach and some nice swimming pools.
8. Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel
Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel is probably the best hotel in Athens if you want to combine the tourism with some business. This place had been used by plenty of companies and business people to hold meetings and different events. You also have an easy access to the tourist attractions in Athens if you happen to stay here.
9. King George Hotel
The King George Hotel in Athens is another downtown hotel that offers an amazing experience to its visitors. This boutique hotel would be appreciated even by the most demanding tourists. The hotel has been working since 1930 and until nowadays it offers one of the best interior designs among the hotels in Athens. Feel like a royalty with King George Hotel.
10. Hotel Grande Bretagne
The Hotel Grande Bretagne is probably the best hotel in Athens when we talk about views. From this hotel, you can see the Acropolis, Syntagma Square, the Olympic Stadium and many other historical sites of Athens. This classy hotel also offers one of the best Spas in the city as well as one of the best rooftop bars in the capital of Greece.
