Located inside the Navajo National Park, the Antelope Canyon in Arizona is a beautiful slot canyon. The strange but natural shape of the canyon is the result of the sandstone’s erosion caused by flash floods inside the canyon.
The Antelope Canyon is divided into two parts. The Upper Antelope Canyon is mostly visited because it’s easy: the ground is even and climbing is not required. The access to the Lower Antelope Canyon is by metal stairways and the paths are more narrow.
Open from 8:00 - 17:00, every day from late March to November 1st.
Open from 9:00 - 15:00, every day from November 2nd to early March.
