The lifestyle of people before the advent of oil in Dubai is depicted beautifully in a particular section of the galleries. There are replicas of craftsmen, vendors, merchants which depict trading and businesses in old time. The walls are all filled with illustrations providing details about the history of Dubai. The gift shop just before the exit gate helps visitors in picking up items of interest for their peers and also for themselves.
