Located at Marratxi, next to the highway connecting Palma de Mallorca and Inca, lies the huge outlet shopping center Festival Park. The shopping mall opened in 2002 and since then is loved and much visited by locals and tourists alike. On an area of 35.000 square meters, you will find restaurants, fashion boutiques, shoe stores, souvenir and handicraft stalls, entertainment activities and a huge cinema.
Being an outlet, the shops offer last season products to reduced prices. Sometimes you will find discounts from 30% to 70% off the normal price. Mainly you will find fashion, leather articles, shoes, bags and sport articles sold in the shops. Some of the known brands you will find at Festival Park are Mango (women’s wear), Nike (sports articles), Reebok (sports articles), Bestard Boots (mallorcan shoe factory), Camper (Spanish shoe brand), Ray-Ban and Oakley (sunglasses), Quiksilver (swimwear and snowboard gear), Levis (blue jeans) and Desigual (colourful urban wear). The food offer ranges from fast food, over Spanish tapas to pizza. Moreover, you can get ice cream and well brewed coffee at the many cafés. The 20 restaurants and cafés on site offer something for every taste. Most of them are located around the main square with the fountain Plaza Festival or around Plaza Salines.
Apart from shopping, the area offers different leisure activities for children as well as adults. You will find the ‘Chiquifestival’, a playground with swings and carousels for small children. At ‘Ecarts’ the young ones can drive around in fast go-carts and The ‘Monkey Park’ is an indoor kindergarten with games and activities. For youngsters and adults, the area offers the biggest cinema on the island. On 20 big screens, you can always watch the latest movies and the cinema even offers a 3D big screen. On 22 bowling alleys, you can show off your sporty moves and have a nice evening with your friends. Furthermore, the area offers an ice rink for ice skating and various dance clubs. Take the highway connecting Palma and Inca and get off at the sigt to Festival Park. If you do not have your own car, take the train and get off at Festival Park.
