Chiang Mai is home to some of the most spectacular mountain and jungle regions in the continent. Plus, the people are friendly, and the attractions abundant. The Flight of the Gibbon is zip a line adventure through the rain forests about 50 kilometers outside of Chiang Mai proper. The day will begin with a comfortable minivan picking you up at your hotel, offering you some bottle water, and shuttling you away to your own tropical oasis. Once you arrive, you will certainly be impressed with the professionalism of the operation, as you are immediately huddled together to undergo a complete safety talk and then fitting out in your own gear. The entire time, you will be looking all around you at nothing but green jungle for as far as the eye can see. The adventure awaits as you begin going through more than 20 zip line stations from, soaring from tree to tree, as you try to catch a glimpse of some the wild gibbons that are endemic to this area. All the while, your tour guides will be with you, taking about the area, snapping photos for you,and ensure that you are not only safe, but that you are also having the time of your life. This is not hard to do, however, as few places in the world are as idyllic as this area of Northern Thailand, and the sheer of adventure of this attraction is sure to make for a day that you will not soon forget.
After scaling trees and soaring through the mountains, you will certainly be ready for a nice lunch. All in all, this is a 6-7 hour journey that is fast paced and action packed. You will be dropped off right back at your hotel and this will certainly have been one of the highlights of your vacation to this point.
