Kazinczy Street

Kazinczy Street is located in the Jewish District of Budapest often referred to as the “Street of Culture”. It is Budapest’s nightlife street and a go-to place for those wishing to experience Hungarian club and pub scene.

The romokocsmáks, or “ruin pubs” are popular here and offer cheap food and drinks in a unique atmosphere with retro gardens and cool interior designs.

Restaurants and bistros also abound here, making it a perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing in the city. For those who can’t get enough of cultural sighting in the city, Kazinczy Street is also a perfect place to continue doing so by visiting the Orthodox Synagogue, 1912 a neo-Renaissance building.

Also on the street is the Hungarian Museum of Electrotechnics, which contains three exhibitions that will give visitors an insight into the history of electrotechnics in Hungary.
