Mercantour National Park is a national park in France. It contains one hundred and fifty rural site villages and over two thousand different species of flora. It also contains an uninhabited part that is made up of lush seven valleys – Roya, Bévéra, Vésubie, Tinée, Haut Var, Verdon and Ubaye valleys. The third highest mountain in the Maritime Alps is located within the park.
The hike is considered quite challenging, being over 2,000 meters high. However, the views at the top are unique, making the effort worth it.
