Cavtat is located nineteen kilometers away from southeast Dubrovnik at the foot of the Adriatic tourist road. At the site of today’s Cavtat, the Greek colony known as Epidaurum was conquered by the Romans in 288 BC.
Cavtat’s economy is almost entirely based on the tourism and hospitality industries and to a lesser extent, fishing. There are five star hotels in Cavat, numerous restaurants, bars, souvenir shops, and a harbor for yachts and boats to please your needs.
