Some restaurants with local cuisine
In the midst of the Lika field, in one of the largest karst fields in Croatia, at an altitude of 562 m above sea level, at the crossroads and on the banks of three rivers: Lika, Novcica and Bogdanica is located the town of Gospic, which is presumably named from the Latin word “hospitium”, which means hostel, inn. Museum of region Lika is the most complete collection of dinaric traditional culture in Croatia. Cathedral of the Annunciation in Gospic is raised to a level of dignity of the cathedral church in 2000. Originally a parish church, today’s cathedral was built from 1781 to 1783 in baroque classicism and is an example of standardized Frontier church of the 18th century.
