Radimljais a necropolis located in Vidovofield, three kilometers west ofStolac.
This necropolis is one of the most valuable within Bosnia’s mediaeval monuments because of the numberof tombs, diversityandpresence of all basicforms, its relativelyhigh artistic quality, the richnessof the plasticdecoration, the reliefshows andinscriptionsthat mentionthe famoushistorical figures, as well asits unusual locationandaccessibility.
It appears onthe Provisional List ofNational Monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina and was also addedto thelist of endangered monuments. The necropolis itself dates back to the late14thcentury. However, themajority of the tombstones are from the 15thand 16th centuries.
In total, the site contains 133 monuments. Sixty three out of them are decorated copies. Among them all, the most numerous are twining vines with trefoils, a twisted ribbon, shields with swords, crosses, human and animal figures and hunting scenes.
