Rosas & Xocolate is a boutique hotel located in the city of Merica, Yucatán in Mexico. It has gained popularity due to its façade, which is completely painted in pink. Its unique design and tones provide a romantic atmosphere for guests and visitors and its convenient location in one of the most emblematic avenues in Merida makes this hotel one of a kind.
Rosas & Xocolate began as a project that rescued two uninhabited mansions by the Reyer Ríos / Larrain firm, that is known for saving and bringing back to life colonial buildings and haciendas around the country.
Another unique aspect of Rosas & Xocolate is that it uses an ancient Mayan technique, “Chukum”, which involves cutting bark and boiling it in water to produce a dye, to pain the walls.
In addition, bicycles are provided by the hotel to its guests!
