Skradinski Buk is the last, seventh and longest travertine barrier on the Krka River and one of the most famous Croatian natural beauties. It is located downstream of village od Miljevci, and is also the largest travertine waterfall in Europe. It consists of travertine cascades, islands and lakes. Over 17 steps of Skradinski buk, spread over 800 meters in length. Width of waterfalls is 200-400 meters with a total height difference of 45.7 meters. Below the Skradinski Buk is the submerged part of the river Krka estuary. Most of travertine of Skrardinski Buk is about 10,000 years old.
