Slieve League is a mountain in Donegal, Ireland that creates spectacular sea cliffs yet is less famous than the smaller Cliffs of Moher. The cliffs are actually three times higher than the Moher Cliffs, making them one of the highest in Ireland and the world. Standing on the mountains feels as though you are on the edge of the world and the views are, needless to say, magnificent.
There is a tourist center that is family-run and provides a wonderful insight into the local history and culture of the area. A craft shop is also available with original souvenirs to take back home.
