The Steinen Bird Park covers an area of more than 10 hectares and is home to a large number of birds, both exotic and native species, such as ducks, parrots, storks, peacocks, turacos and pheasants.
The main highlights in the park include the feeding of Barbary Apes, the Birds of Prey Flight Show, the Ornithology Center, Hot House, and public hatchery. The Birds of Prey Flight Show takes place every day.
The park is a good place to learn many things about falcons, eagles and owls; how they catch their prey and why should we protect them. Visitors also get a chance to feed the Barbary Makaws.
