Zrinjevac, also called Nikola Subic Zrinski Square is Zagreb square and park with a plane tree alley, part of the so-called “Green or Lenuci horseshoe”, consisting of seven Zagreb downtown squares. It covers an area of 12,540 m2. On northern part of Zrinjevac is meteorology pole set in 1884 as a gift of the surgeon dr. Adolf Holzer. In the southern part of Zrinjevac are the busts of important Croatian personalities. In the middle of the park, there is a music pavilion, built in 1891. Zrinjevac is the seat of several institutions like the Croatian Supreme Court, of the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb and Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
