Central Bosnia is the region of Bosnia and Herzegovina around the capital city of Sarajevo. Situated at the crossroads between the Central Europe and the Orient, it is noted for its urban life and cultural attractions. The most used language is Bosnian and the other two official are Serbian and Croatian. The climate is temperate continental. Here was born Nobel Prize winner for literature Ivo Andric.
