Zipolite is known for being one of the few nudist beaches in Mexico and for its hippie vibe (in fact, this was one of the places the hippies flocked to in the 60’s). Since then, it has maintained its hippie status with rustic cabins lining the beach as well as camp grounds, the music from the 60’s coming from everywhere and the use of marijuana being tolerated here.
