1. Statue of Franz Kafka

The Statue of Franz Kafka is probably one of the most amazing statues that I have seen in my life. This landmark is located in the Czech Republic’s capital – Prague. The statue is actually moving and reflecting. This piece of modern art had been created in 2014 by David Cerny. The official description of this landmark is that it is a Metalmorphosis statue. You just need to see it, I cannot express how amazing is this 45 tons steel structure.

2. Grevin

Grevin is a wax museum located in the capital of the Czech Republic – Prague. For me, this is the best wax museum in Europe and maybe in the world. Pretty much every month there is a new wax statue. In this museum, you can find the statue of basically all famous people in the world. Fantastic place to click some really nice photos, you can bring your kids as well. The admission fee for the museum is also pretty cheap, especially for international tourists.

3. KGB Museum

The KGB Museum is one of the most interesting museums that I have ever visited. The place has plenty of items that were used by the secret service of the USSR and later on Russia. While the museum is based on a pretty serious theme, it is still a really cool place to visit. You can see all kinds of stuff that was used by the agents of KGB, you can click few photos and you can get surprised with what kind of interesting items had been used by KGB agents in the past.

4. The Loretto

The Loretto is a religious complex located in the capital of the Czech Republic – Prague. The most spectacular thing in this complex is the tower with a 27-bell carillon. Over here you can also see the so-called ”Prague Sun” which is a monstrance encrusted with 6222 diamonds. This is a really interesting object that deserves your attention. In addition, the Loretto is situated in a well-developed part of the city, so you will not have problems with the transportation.

5. Dancing House

The Dancing House is probably the most interesting and at the same time weird building in Prague. The modern design of the building contradicts with the nearby Baroque and Gothic buildings and this makes the place even better. The Dancing House had been completed in 1996. Nowadays this building deserves your attention not only because of its modern style but also because it offers a really strange view. Go check it out and see how strange the view is for you.

6. Church of Our Lady before Tyn

The most spectacular church in Prague is the Church of Mother of God before Tyn. Locals mainly call it Tyn Church, so in case if you need directions from locals, you should use this name. This amazing church has two huge towers and each of them is 80 meters high. The building was built in the 14th century and since then it is a symbol of the Gothic style in the capital of the Czech Republic. If you are going to the famous Old Town of Prague, go and visit the Tyn Church.

7. Strahov Monastic Brewery

Everyone knows that the Czech’s beer is one of the best in the world. Even if you are not a beer fan, you still need to try the local beer. In my opinion, the best place for Czech beer in Prague is the Strahov Monastic Brewery. The place is located in the Strahov Monastery next to the Prague Castle. Locals say that the brewery was created by Abbot Questenberg in 1628. Later only the place was closed until the year 2000 when it was reconstructed. Here you can enjoy some great food and beer and all that at really cheap prices.

8. The Vrtba Garden

The Vrtba Garden is probably the most beautiful garden in Prague. It is situated on the Petrin Hill and it was designed by Frantisek Kanka. The place went through several renovations, with the last one that happened in 1998. Currently, the place offers some amazing views plus plenty of places for relaxation. I strongly recommend you to visit Vrtba Garden if you are visiting the city with your girlfriend/boyfriend.

9. Spanish Synagogue

The most beautiful synagogue that I have seen is the Spanish Synagogue in Prague. The interior of the place is just gorgeous. We cannot describe it only with words, you just need to see it. The place had been completed in 1868 and is currently administered by the Jewish Museum in Prague. The architect of this amazing place is Josef Niklas. I strongly recommend you to visit the place even if your religions is different than the Judaism.

10. State Opera Prague

The State Opera in Prague is one of the oldest operas in East Europe. The place was created in 1888 and was originally known as Smetana Theatre. The Opera has amazing interior and it offers to its visitors some amazing things to see. If you are lucky enough and you can find tickets for an opera play your experience will be even better. Personally, I was not a fan of opera or theater but after visiting this place and some other ones in Europe, I started to really like such kind of activities. Check the State Opera when you visit Prague!
