The statues of the royal couple of Hungary – Stephen I and Gisella are the symbols of the city of Veszprem. The look-out offers spectacular views for the tourists. The statues are not really huge, but on the other hand their location is gorgeous. In my opinion the place is amazing because it seems that Stephen I and Gisella are looking over the town. Amazing background for lovely pictures. Go check the place out if you want to feel like Stephen I and Gisella.

The Benedictine Church of Gyor was built by the Jesuits of Gyor in 1641. The most spectacular part of the church are the two 18th century towers on the front side of this holy place. Nowadays the Church of St. Ignatius of Loyola is a typical baroque architecture building on the main square of the Gyor, Hungary. There is a small amout of Benedictine Churches in Southeastern Europe and in my opinion this one is the best among all of them.

The Baroque style column has been the main atraction of Sopron Main Square since the early 17th century ages. There are a lot of statues of the Holy Trinity around the world, but this is my favorite because of its location on the main square of the city. Perfect place for many photographers and art lovers. The statues design is also really interesting, because the columns are twisted to one another.  If you go to Sopron, Hungary you definitely need to check the Main Square and the Holy Trinity statue.

The Gyula castle was build in the 14th century by the Hungarian leader Janos Maroti. At some point the fortress was under the control of the Turks, but later in 1695 the Christian troops reoccupied the territory ones again. In nowadays tourists can also visit the castle’s museum and go through all 24 exhibition rooms. A “must” location for the Renaissance lovers.

This ancient ruins were found couple of years ago in 1975. This is the biggest cemetery chapel in Hungary. The tomb is so big, which make us belive that it was build for a wealthy Roman family. Nowadays this Roman mausoleum is one of the most interesting landmarks of the city of Pecs.
[rel_attraction_big_picture title=”Hungarian Open Air Museum”]
I have been in many places in the world and only in few you I was able to actually feel and see the culture and the traditions of the locals in such a great way. When you are in the Open Air Museum of Hungary you feel like you are back in the time. Tourists here can see Hungarian architecture from different historic periods. Many internationals focus only on the landmarks of Budapest and they miss out the smaller and more meaningful places like this Museum. The place is only 20 km away from the capital, which makes it really accessible.
[rel_attraction_big_picture title=”Voltive Church”]
The twin spired church of Szeged is one of the best Roman Catholic churches in Hungary. The construction of this holy place started a little bit before the WWI, because of this reason the cathedral was not completed until 1930. The hight of the spires is 81 metres, which makes the church spectacular.  The actual name of this place is: The Voltive Church of Our Lady of Hunagry. Visit the cathedral if you want to experience the unique interior of the Roman Catholic churches.
[rel_attraction_big_picture title=”Cave Bath”]
The thermal spa of  Miskolc is located in the most unique cave in Europe. Visitors in this cave can enjoy a day in the thermal water and in the same time explore the insides of these rocks. The admission fee is average and a huge amount of people visit this place everyday. Normally the water inside the cave is around 30 degrees celcius. Totally there are 6 swimming pools that are on disposal for the visitors. In my personal opinion this is the best place in Hungary.
