The museum represents the archeological heritage in an up-to-date, interactive and interesting manner

Trg Nikole Šubića Zrinskog 19, 10000, Zagreb, Croatia

Archeology is an interesting and exciting subject, this museum is the evidence of that!

You can marvel at different collections from certain time periods such as the Prehistoric and Egyptian collections. They also have Greek and Roman collections, filled with different everyday objects that show us a glimpse of how our ancestors lived back then. There’s also a Numismatic collection, which could be interesting for people who are big fans of coins. The museum’s cortyard has a Lapidarium, which is a collection of stone monuments from the Roman era. It looks really great, you should check it out!

If you decide to visit this marvelous place, you can do so every day except on Mondays or on holidays. The tickets aren’t expensive, for adults it’s 30 kn while for children it’s 15 kn. You can also get professional guidance, which will cost you a 150 kn.

The museum also has a souvenir shop where you can buy copies of archeological findings. They are cute and they will surely look good on one of your shelves at home!
