Asakusa is a district in Tokyo that has been able to preserve most of its traditions from the past. This location is hugely popular among tourists because it is where Sensoji Temple is located (the famous one with the large red lantern).
You can also take leisure walks next to small traditional shops and stands or enjoy one of the boat tours that can take you from Asakusa to Hamarikyu Gardens and Odaiba Island.
Asakusa station can be accessed via the Tobu Isesaki train line, Tokyo metro Ginza line, the Tsukuba express line and the Toei Asakusa line.
