The Hindu shrine which is an abode of peace and tranquility.

Tilak Nagar, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302004
Visit the temple during the night time for the best experience of the place.

Housed at the foot of the Moti Dungri Fort, the Birla mandir is a temple built in the year 1988 by the B.M Birla Foundation. It is one of the several Birla temples built all around India.

The temple is built of white marble and looks startling when it is lit up during the night. Though it is visited by devotees even during the day time but for the best scenic experience you should visit the place during the night time. The temple has idols of Hindu Goddess and God, Laxmi and Narayan, hence the name Laxmi-Narayan temple is allotted to it. The temple carved out of white marble looks astonishingly beautiful and spotless white, thus making it attractive and magnificent.

The temple also has beautiful murals and sculptures imprinted on the exterior walls. The interior of the temple has magnificent decors which relate to the mythological beliefs. The architectural design of the temple is such that there are three domes which represent three different religions in India thus it stands as a tribute to the secular sovereignty of the Nation. The idols placed inside the temple are work of great professionalism and artifact.

You can also stroll through the lush green garden area in the temple complex. Also, there is a museum housed inside the temple area wherein visitors can spot items in the display. You can shop awesome souvenirs, handicrafts, and other stuff from the shops at the temple gates. It is a great spot for those who want some quiet moment away from the hustles and bustles of the city area.
