The Church of St. Leonard stands on the northwest side of Kropa. It is designed in a traditional baroque style with a beautiful interior filled with paintings from different Slovenian artists such as Matija Bradaš, Leopold Layer, Ivana Kobilica and Matevž Langus. Also to note are the beautiful altars created by Peter Žiwobski.
The church is surrounded by a cemetery, which is a beautiful yet slightly morbid place to explore the artistic iron forged pieces and the numerous monuments decorated with tiny iron items that serve as another example of how big of an influence this craft had on the villagers.
The Church of St. Leonard is also a great starting point for many hiking routes.
The church can be reached by short but quite steep walk from the centre of the village.
