In Kumrovec, there is a unique open-air museum with preserved original village houses from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Visitors can tour the permanent collection of ethnological traditional way of life in the late 19th c., such as the Zagorje Wedding, Life of a young couple, from hemp to linen, Farriery, Wheelwright Crafts, Pottery, From Grain to Bread and others.

 

Also in Kumrovec is a museum that used to be the house of Josip Broz Tito, a Yugoslav leader, marshall and communist dictator.

From April 1 to September 30: Every day from 9:00 - 19:00
From 1st October to 31st March: Every day from 9:00 - 16:00

Highway Zagreb- Macelj, exit Krapina and by road to Kumrovec
