Freiburg Muenster is one of the most distinctive and striking churches in the Black Forest; it is located in Freiburg City. The construction of the church was initially started in the 1200s in a Romanesque style, but was later on continued with a Gothic design.

 

Along with the constructions of the choir and other several extensions, the tower was completed around the year 1330. It is occasionally referred to as the most beautiful tower in Christendom. The interior consists of remarkable pieces and the tower can also be climbed by visitors and provides a wonderful view of the city from its look-out platforms.
