More info: This world famous waterfall, tumbles 14 steps till it reaches lake Brienz.
From the lake, you can take a short funicular ride up to Grand Hotel Giessbach (about 100 meter above the lake) .
A footpath (not suitable for trolley) goes upwards from the hotel, along the stream. about 1 hour hike (round trip) up.
Afterwards you can eat at the hotel's restaurant and admire the views, and hike 30 min on paved road (this one is suitable for trolley) down to the lake.
The waterfall is free. Those who arrive with car only have to pay for parking.
