A gorgeous castle located inside a National Park in the north of Ireland

Glenveach Castle (“Gleann Bheatha”, meaning “Glen of the Birch Trees”is a huge Mansion house built inside the Glenveagh National Park in Donegal, Ireland. Built between 1870 and 1873, the castle has a Scottish Baronial style. The mansion was built by Captian John George Adair, who was not very well-liked as many tenants were removed and forced to immigrate when he purchased the land to built.


The castle’s background is lined with mountains, lakes and woods – creating a wonderful visual delight for the visitor.
