Golan Heights Winery:
The winery, established in 1983, is one of the leaders in Israel’s current wine culture. The winery has firmly placed Israel on the world wine map marketing its wines under four leading brands – Yarden, Gamla, Mount Hermon and Golan. When looking for quality, technological innovation, and new variety development, Golan Heights Winery leads the pack producing internationally renowned wines.
In this breathtaking plateau, excellent wines begin with the right conditions, fertile volcanic soil, topography, high altitude and cool climate weather. This unique combination makes the Golan Heights the “wine country.”
The winery is supplied by 28 vineyards, covering over 600 hectares. The fruit of each vineyard is cared for individually as the grapes are grown, harvested and brought to the winery. If you are a wine lover, this is the place you will enjoy.
The Winery is closed from Friday noon until Sunday morning.
