The Hungarian National Gallery in the Royal Palace is devoted to traditional Hungarian art and it has a collection from the middle ages to the present day. It is a must for anyone who is interested in Hungarian culture and for those who love admiring art. It features art from many eras and style including Medieval, Renaissance, Gothic, Baroque and more. Artworks vary from paintings to sculptures and even wood altars from the 15th century. The gallery was established in 1957 and it is located in one of the sections of the famous Buda Castle.
