Madame Tussauds is the hottest place to get a slice of the A-list action, placed covertly within The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian on the western strip; it’s somewhat of a hidden gem. The museum which boasts over 100 life like figures each stems from A-listers to famous TV and film. This is the best place to get up, close and personal with your favourite celebrities.
The main theme throughout is Interactivity, the attraction wants the customer to indulge and be a part of the action as much as possible, with a chance to indulge in dress up with today’s pop stars, party with the playboy bunnies and Hugh Hefner – Ears are included! Or even fighting on Americas most famous TV set; Jerry Springer.
The entrance opens up to club Tussauds, complete with your 1st photo chance similar to a photo booth with giant Las Vegas signs and props to accompany the perfect photo. The first room is opened to recreate an A-list party, allowing space between each figure lets you create the perfect selife, hold their arms and stroke their hair! The room is set out to give the effect of a real life Hollywood party figures include Will Smith, George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Robert Pattinson.
Unique to Vegas is the Las Vegas room, a great reminder of the talent raised along the famous strip, models include the world famous Liberace, who stays true to fashion and is wearing the most expensive outfit in the whole attraction. Alongside this are the iconic showgirls, alongside beloved magicians Siegfried and Roy.
Superhero fans will be thrown into the heart of the action on the big screen, with the Marvel Super Heroes 4-D experience. The experience begins with an array of everyone’s favourite superheroes displayed in their natural surroundings; watch out for the giant Hulk ready to grasp you in his grip! Prepare to battle the elements inside the experience with rain, wind and earthquakes creating a more real movie atmosphere.
Join Spiderman and friends in defeating evil, this is a perfect attraction to escape the casinos, hustle and bustle of the strip. Whilst the attraction is not that big it has plenty to see and do in each part apiece.
A great amount of detail goes into each figure from the pose even to the outfit’s, Beyoncé decided to donate her own outfits to the museum, beside the newest figure Fergie who donated her tour outfit’s to the attraction.
So snuggle up to your fave celebs press the camera, say ‘Vegas’ and make your friends jealous!
Lots of online packages are available with a pass to the waxworks and gondola ride for just $66 including an Italian Lunch or dinner at Ziffirino or Tinterreto. Half price tickets are available readily at Tix4tonight booths which are located across the strip.
Top tip is to arrive early to avoid queues this also gives you more time in the attraction to wonder off and take more photos and enjoy.
From the strip, simply take the moving walkways towards The Venetian and look for the celebrities!
Drive south on Las Vegas Blvd. towards The Venetian. Enter and park at The Venetian. The Deuce (Bus) also stops downtown, take the Deuce to the Mirage/Venetian stop and cross the street towards the Venetian.
