More info: Located in the Central Pacific Coast, this National Park is very popular because of the beautiful white sand beach that borders it. This is one of Costa Rica’s most visited parks due to its easy access from San José. The rainforest grow right up to the high tide line of the beach. Among its many wildlife, the park is especially known for the Titi Monkeys (squirrel moneys) that inhabit it. Manuel Antonio National Park also includes 12 little islets just off the coast where Dolphins and sometimes even migrating Whales can be seen. Guided tours of the park are available.

Opening hours: 7.00 am to . National Park is closed on Mondays, but the beach can be accessed outside the park.

How to get there: By Airplane: From San José by Sansa Airlines - 20 minutes flight into Quepos Airstrip and take a taxi from there.

By car: From San José it’s about a 3.5 hour drive down the Pan-American Highway. Busses are available from Coca Cola Bus Terminal in San Jose.
