Masaryk Avenue is the go-to place for fine dining and upscale shopping in Mexico City. Located in the fashionable district of Polanco, Masaryk is a favorite among affluent upper class locals.
The name of the avenue is in honor of the first president of Czechoslovakia, Tomas Garrigue Masaryk. In 1999, Prague donates a statue of the president to Mexico City and it is places in the avenue of Masaryk.
