Moslavacka Gora is a mountain located in central Croatia on the border of Bjelovar-Bilogora and Sisak County. It belongs to old sunken highlands rich in mineral resources (granite and oil and gas). The highest point is – Humka 489 m above sea level. Moslavacka Gora is covered with dense forests of beech, oak, elm, chestnut, black alder and birch, and in lower areas cultivated orchards and vineyards. Fossil of prehistoric elephant and rhinoceros were found in the mine in 1994. There are several quarries some of which are abandoned. The most important are Pleterac and Mikleuska. Remains of old fortresses can be seen, most notably Garic-city, built by Duke Stjepan Subic.
