This museum is a delight for every fan of art!

Avenija Dubrovnik 17, 10000, Zagreb
adults: 30 kunas; children, students, pensioners, people with disabilities: 15 kunas

The Museum of Contemporary Art in Zagreb is truly amazing. They always have something fresh on the “menu” and people generally love to visit this place. Last year they even held pop/punk/rock concerts on the rooftop and it was amazing!

This museum tends to please their visitors and fans to the max! They try to have the most interesting and most abstract exhibitions at all times! A few years back they had Julije Knifer’s art, as well as Boris Bućan’s artwork on display. These exhibitions were a couple of years apart, but as you can see, they put effort into their displays and they don’t play around. Both of these artists were famous and big in their time, and they were also highly respected, so every art lover would appreciate these exhibits.

The museum opend its doors back in 1954., so it has a long history and more than half a century of experience! Ever since then it’s been nothing but a delight!

Every person who visits this place falls in love with it, and that’s a fact. It just gives you that pleasant vibe while you’re there, it’s almost as if you’re at home there.

The building is located outside of the city centre. Another useful info is that it has a shopping mall right across the street, so after a nice and long walk across the museum filled with useful and cultural info, you can treat yourself! You can do that in the museum’s souvenir shop as well, FYI.

The price of the tickets are average, so you don’t have to worry about overspending!
