A magnificent museum building

Av. dels Montanyans, S/N, 08038 Barcelona, Spain

One of the landmarks in Barcelona that is not a work of Antoni Gaudi is the Palau Nacional. Regardless of this fact, this place is wonderful…I repeat wonderful. If you are a tourist visiting Barcelona, you will definitely visit Montjuic Hill. Since you are going to visit this place, do not forget to also visit the National Art Museum of Catalonia which is located exactly at Montjuic Hill.

Palau Nacional is a must seen attraction for every tourist. Since 1934 the place is also the home of the National Art Museum of Catalonia. Currently, you can both enjoy some great artworks inside the museum and at the same time, you can enjoy the great architecture and style of the palace. You can also see plenty of traditional Catalan paintings mainly from the 19th century. The exterior of the Palau Nacional is more than just spectacular. Visit the attraction during night time and you will be even more pleased with the view.
