|Nature Park Ucka is located in the mountain massif Ucka in Croatia, near the city of Rijeka and covers an area of 160 square kilometers. Nature Park was declared a protected area in 1999. Proximity to the sea favors the specific climate. Many protected and rare animal and plant species can therefore be found in this reserve. The richness of mountain vegetation and endemic species highlights the rocky ridge of the highest peak of Učka, and the old tower-lookout, built in early last century, which offers a splendid view of Istria, Kvarner bay and the islands, the mountains of Gorski Kotar, Velebit, the Alps and Italy. On the tower you can get information about the Park and set up telescopes to provide an even better view of the surrounding landscapes.|
Highway Zagreb- Rijeka, exit Rijeka and continue along the expressway in the direction of Ucka Tunnel (Pula, Porec etc.) and take the exit Veprinac. From there continue along the regional road that leads to the park.
