Mali Losinj is the biggest settlement on the island of Losinj and the largest settlement on all Adriatic islands. Mali Losinj is a coastal place, situated in the bottom of the bay, namely Mali Losinj harbor. It’s facing the sea on the northwest side. For nautical tourism is very important because the port is located on the way between Istria and Dalmatia. In 1868 is reaching its peak. There were working even 11 ship yards, and Mali Losinj becomes the place with the strongest commercial fleet in the Adriatic even stronger than Venice. It has many beaches, archaeological and hydroarchaeological zones and locations.
