Old Town of Rovinj is a very romantic historic core with many monuments from various historical periods. Streets are narrow and look typically Mediterranean. Old Town of Rovinj is the most photographed attraction in Croatia and Southeast Europe. The main landmark of Old Town is church of st. Euphemia.
It’s located on the western coast of Istria peninsula. Together with city of Porec is the strongest tourist center of Istria, and one of the strongest in the Adriatic. In Rovinj Archipelago there are 22 islands and islets, of which St. Andrew and St. Catherine are the greatest. In the city of Rovinj there are 10 hotels, of which the largest hotel Eden is proclaimed as the best 4 * hotel in Croatia. In 2009 Rovinj got the first 5-star hotel, Hotel Monte Mulini.
