Palic Lake is located 8 km from the town of Subotica and it is a very popular tourist center in Vojvodina Region. The lake represents the largest natural lake in Serbia and it is also a part of the protected area of Nature Park Palic.
The area is characterized by a mild climate, a lot of sunny days per year and favorable winds. The lake is shallow, L-shaped and 17 km long. During the summer season, the temperature of the water is between 18C and 25C.
Palic lake became exclusive spa and an elite resort in the beginning of the 19th century, and it remained popular among visitors.
In the area of Palic there are a lot of accommodation facilities, restaurants and cafes suitable for moments of rest and relaxation.
