Contains the largest digital clock in the world, a revolving restaurant and observation deck

Stromstraße 20, 40212 Düsseldorf, Germany

The Rheinturm (“Rhine Tower”) is perhaps the most famous landmark in the city of Düsseldorf. It is a 240.5 meter high telecommunications tower inaugurated in 1981. Almost at the top, there is a revolving restaurant and an observation deck but its main purpose is to carry aerials for radio, FM and television. A light sculpture found here doubles as the largest digital clock in the world called “Lichtzeitpegel” and designed by Horst H. Baumann.

Opening hours

The observation deck is open to visit from 10:00 to 23:30 daily.
