Rinka Waterfall, the second highest waterfall in Slovenia

A small coffee shop, known as the "Eagle's Nest" is one of the best spots to take picture of the Rinka Waterfall and to enjoy some refreshments.
Access to the waterfall by foot and by bike is free, but there is a fee for all motor vehicles (motorcycle 5€, car 7€, van 8€ and bus 25€).

One of the most interesting attractions within the Logarska Dolina is the Rinka Waterfall, located at the end of the valley. With its 105 meters tall and a single 90 meters drop, the Rinka Waterfall is the second highest waterfall in Slovenia and one of the most impressive ones as well.

Sourcing from the river Savinja, a special feature of the Rinka Waterfall is that almost as soon as the water hits the bottom of the waterfall, the water disappears underground, only to resurface in the lower part of the valley, as the stream of the river Črna.

During the summer, the long drop of the waterfall paired with a small breeze creates a very refreshing feeling. During winter, when the waterfall freezes, experienced adventure seekers climb on the frozen Rinka Waterfall.
