More info: Salcedo is a nice little town definitely worth visiting if you're around. The town is known for the special sort of ice cream only found in this country. You can try one of the many unique flavors of the fruits that you can only find in Latin America, or you can get an ice cream that combines layers of all the possible flavors. The ice creams are no more than $2 each and have the traditional pyramidal shape.
