Coenaculum: The Room of the Last Supper called Coenaculum, as mentioned in the New Testament, also known as the Upper Room, is situated just outside the Dormizion Church behind the Franciscan house on Mt. Zion. The whole area in the vicinity has been transformed by religious Jews into various religious classrooms due to the nearby location of the Tomb of King David believed for the last 2,000 years, to be beneath the Upper Room. The site, sacred in Christian tradition, is believed to be the room of Last Supper where Yeshua established the rite of the Eucharist. Later, at the same place, the Holy Ghost appeared to Mary and the Apostles during the Pentecost based on Acts 1:13Acts 2: 1
