The German Clock Museum is located in Furtwangen, the clock-making heart of the area. The museum boasts a 150 year-old collection of not only German clocks, but also those from around the world.
The museum’s vast collection includes a diverse array of clocks such as stone-age calendars, anatomic clocks, baroque altar clocks, simple kitchen timers, time-punch clocks, the first radio-controlled wristwatch, and the German-famous cuckoo clocks. Speaking of which, you can find the world’s largest cuckoo clock in this museum!
