Long time hid natural treasure Tolmin Gorges is one of the symbols of Triglav National Park. Stream Tolminka has found its way through thousands of years and nowadays represent adventurous hiking destination to enjoy natural beauties. There you can find a picturesque combination of stone, running water and green environment, perfect for sporting families, couples and all who enjoy a great time being outdoors.

Tolmin Gorges are wild and mysterious narrow gorges that were created by amazing blue-green water, are an intriguing attraction for visitors from the whole world. About 2 kilometers of adventures paths, to even more than 60 meters above the river, have been organized and are accessed by visitors.

The most interesting part of Tolmin Gorges is Dante`s cave. Legend has it, famous Dante Alighieri visited this place in the 14th century and was so amazed by the clearness and wildness of the water, and by the mysterious of Tolmin, that he decided to use this inspiration for one of his works. And so, his most famous work The Divine Comedy was created. Dante`s cave can be seen only with a local guide.

Many other interesting places awaits in Tolmin Gorges. 100 years old Devils Bridge is reserved for the bravest visitors.
