A Day In Bohinj

A major part of Bohinj is protected as a natural heritage and it belongs to the Triglav National Park (TNP). There are over 1,000 different plant species and some of them can be found only in Bohinj. The diversity of animal species is also wide, due to the large difference in altitude, the impact of the Mediterranean Sea and the subsoil.
When you want to relax, to take a breath of fresh air and enjoy in calmer pace, Bohinj is the right choice. Unspoiled nature, home cooking, divine view of the crystal clear and the largest natural lake in Slovenia, surrounded by majestic mountains, will completely take you over and will recharge your battery.

First when you arrive in Bohinj, take at least a short walk around the lake.
