1. Vauxhall Open Air Cinema

Situated in Vauxhall pleasure gardens and just a stones throw away from Vauxhall underground, simply one of the best FREE summer events in London complete with pop up food stalls, multiple porto loo facilities and chair hire for just £5! We chose to watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding, sipping on a can of Gin & Tonic as the sun started to set on a balmy summers day.

2. The London Eye

Situated next to Westminster bridge and just a short walk from the Sealife Centre, the London eye is the worlds largest observation wheel standing at over 135 metres. With tickets starting from £25 and upwards however, its hardly a family friendly affordable day out. So you can settled for a walk underneath it instead and still reap the benefits!

3. Late Nights At The Natural History Museum

London is renowned for it’s spectacular free museums, but in the summer they really come alive! Visit the natural history museum on one of it’s late night openings to take in the sites after dark with a glass of champagne. Also the filming location for ‘Night at the museum 3!’

4. Nottinghill Carnival

As famous as its sister carnival in Brazil, this upper class suburb comes to life every August for it’s incredible carnival. Sample food from around the world in one of it’s many pop ups market stalls and sway to the samba!

5. Richmond Park Of all the large parks in London, Richmond to me is the most beautiful. Created by Charles the 1st in the 17th century, Richmond is a national nature reserve. The riverside walk alone through the picturesque town of Richmond leads to the most beautiful views in London.The highlights are very becoming, rare flowers and birds, herds of fallow deer strut confidently by, and of course, the Royal Ballet School, The white lodge. All within a 20 minute train ride from Central London!
