To celebrate October, A.K.A the Breast Cancer Awareness month, we have come up with a list of beautiful, pink-colored attractions and buildings around the world. But please, while you are more than welcome to enjoy our list of pretty-looking places, use it as a remainder that breast cancer is increasing and reaching people are younger and younger ages. Remember to take the necessary steps needed to detect the disease in its early stages and prompt others to do the same. Sadly, any woman can fall victim to it and it is curable if spotted early. 1. Hawa Mahal, India

Also known as the Palace of Winds, this gorgeous building decorates the streets of Jaipur and was constructed of red and pink sandstone. It was built so women could observe the festivities while still remaining unseen.


2. Casa Luis Barragán

Okay, it is not totally pink but it deserves to make it to the list. Located in Mexico City, the house was built by and for architect Luis Barragán and it remained his residence until his death in 1988. Today, it is a museum and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site list.


3. Barbie Shanghai (closed)

Barbie Shanghai was the first ever Barbie flagship to be opened. It held the largest collection of Barbie dolls and was filled with fun activities. It closed in 2011 but still deserves a mention in the post!


4. Rosas & Xocolate Boutique Hotel

Rosas & Xocolate is a hotel with a pink façade in Merida, built out of two abandoned mansions from the Colonial times.


5. Santa Barbara Mission

The Santa Barbara Mission was founded in 1786 near Santa Barbara, California as the tenth mission for the religious conversion of the indigenous local Native American tribe.


6. Schloss Benrath

The Schloss Benrath is a Baroque palace located in the outskirts of Düsseldorf in Germany. Completed in 1770, the palaces’s façade feature a pastel pink that make it truly stunning!


7. Pink Lake

The Pink Lake in Australia has become famous due to the intense pink colors of the water when the correct temperature, salinity level, and algae combine.
