Novi Sad is a town of many festivals and museums. People, there are extremely kind, relaxed and very easy to talk with. You will find a lot of great restaurants and many things to do. In comparison with EU countries the prices are very low, so you can enjoy many things with very low budget.
 
First, when you arrive in Novi Sad, it is a must to visit Petrovaradin fortress, which was built already in the year 1780 on 112 hectares of area. It has many underground tunnels and it’s protected by the Republic of Serbia.

In July on Petrovaradin fortress is annual summer music festival, named Exit, which is known as the biggest festival in South-Eastern Europe. If you are visiting Novi Sad in summer, you really don’t want to miss this festival.

The most famous museum in Novi Sad is Museum of Vojvodina, which is also the largest museum in Vojvodina region. The entrance fee is very low and you will have the chance to see huge number of originated objects.

The building of the mayor of Novi Sad, built in neo-Renaissance style is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city.

Fruska Gora is a natural park with very great view, history, museum and some very good restaurants nearby. If you want to see the most important sights in Fruska Gora, you should stay here for at least half of day.
