Serbia is a really nice tourist destination with beautiful places and pleasant people. In a place like this, it would be a shame not to stay somewhere nice where you can have a lot of fun. In order to help you achieve this goal, we’re giving you a list of some campsites you could visit with your family or your partner, or even alone if you want to! All you have to do is read this article, pick a place and visit it!
1. Camping ‘Zasavica’

This campsite is located right next to the special nature reserve ‘Zasavica’, which gives you the perfect opportunity to visit this amazing and unspoiled part of nature. It’s pet-friendly, it has shared bathrooms and toilets, but they are nice and clean, and they also have free Wi-Fi and private parking! If you get hungry, you can always visit their restaurant or make something on your own in the BBQ facility. While you’re there you can enjoy some pleasant hiking, bicycling, and for some extra money, you can try canoeing and also fishing! 2. Camping Area ‘Pipacs’–Feketić

This campsite is known as a medium shady campsite, but it’s definitely in a really beautiful place with paved pitches, 15 electric hook-ups, and 5 water hook-ups. It’s not a big camp, but it’s definitely cozy and really nice. There’s a restaurant at the campsite which offers both local and international cuisine and there’s also a grocery store only 0.5 km away. While you’re there you can try horseback riding or fishing and they also have a tennis court. As you see, you can engage in many interesting activities. This isn’t a luxury campsite, but it’s definitely nice and fitting for families who want to spend a weekend together, away from the noises of the city.
3. Campsite ‘Oaza’ – Bela Crkva

This place is really nice and extremely affordable. It’s located on the Vračev Gaj Lake so you can only imagine the beautiful view you get to see every morning while you’re there. The visitors are always really satisfied and they say that they are happy with the equipment there. They offer free Wi-Fi and also free parking, and they have 150 pitches so it’s a medium-size campsite. They have a restaurant and also a grocery store and snack outlets, so you don’t have to worry about being hungry, you’ll always have some food nearby. This place is really nice and it would be a shame not to visit it!
4. Camping Site ‘Srebrno Jezero’ (Silver Lake) – Veliko Gradište

‘Srebrno Jezero’ is located on a lake which bears the same name as the campsite, Silver Lake. It’s a beautiful place and they improve themselves throughout the year. Today they are a highly recommended campsite with many happy and satisfied visitors. The staff speaks English, so communication shouldn’t be a problem. The bathroom and the toilets are regularly cleaned and they are nice. The campsite also has a restaurant, so getting something to eat will be easy for you! They also have a clean and nice beach, so you can enjoy some sunbathing or swimming in the lake, or if you want to you can even try fishing there!
5. Camp Dunav – Zemun, Belgrade

This is a nice and well-maintained campsite where you will have a lot of fun and you’ll be able to befriend the locals. ‘Dunav’ campsite is located in Zemun, only 10 km from Belgrade. If you decide to stay there, you’ll have a great view of the Danube River. They have a capacity of 50 pitches. This is a smaller campsite, but it’s really nice and offers a lot of nice activities like fishing, sightseeing and many kinds of sports. They are also pet-friendly and they have an amazing restaurant. They also have a bar, so if you’d like to have some alcoholic beverages, feel free to visit it! This is truly an amazing place, make sure to visit them!
6. Campsite ‘Miročka Voda’

‘Miročka Voda’ is situated right on the bank of the Danube River. They have a capacity of a 100 camping pitches for tents and 45 for mobile homes. This place is perfect for some swimming and sunbathing, they have a sandy beach and beautiful and clear water. As always, you can try fishing, or have some fun playing beach volleyball. You can also visit the Đerdap National Park or Mt. Miroč since they are close by. This place offers so much; thanks to its perfect location, all you have to do is visit it and decide what you’d like to do!
7. Campsite ‘St. Mokranjac’

Really well-kept and beautiful campsite. It’s located on the Danube River and it’s perfect for people who like fishing or cycling! Visitors say that they feel truly at home there and that the people there are really pleasant and welcoming! This place is quiet and peaceful so it’s perfect for some relaxation. It’s a smaller campsite and it’s really cozy! They offer fishing, swimming and long walks in nature as some fun activities! They are pet-friendly and they have toilets and bathrooms. This place would be amazing for a weekend getaway, just to sit there in the heart of nature, thinking about nothing in particular. Simply perfect!
8. Camping Site ‘Borsko Jezero’ – Bor

You can find this amazing place on the Borsko Lake, a truly beautiful place in the heart of nature. The campsite has a capacity of 200 pitches, so it’s slightly bigger than the rest of the campsites on this list. It offers a beautiful beach as well, so you can enjoy the warm sun and the cool and clear water of the lake. There are many tourist attractions around this campsite so you will never be bored while staying there. You can visit either Brestovačka or Gamzigradska Spa, or if you want to explore a bit you can visit Zlotska Cave or Mt. Crni Vrh. There are many more tourist attractions you can visit so make sure to ask the locals if they recommend any particular place!
9. Camping Site ‘Vlasina’ – Vlasinsko Jezero

This campsite is also located on a lake, Vlasinsko Lake. The view is breathtaking, it’s well-kept and nice, it looks like an untouched part of nature. This campsite has pitches for caravans and tents as well. If you’re wondering what activities they offer, they have two football (just to be clear, we’re talking about soccer) courts, they also offer an organized beach so as always, you can enjoy some nice sunbathing or swimming in the nice and clear water. You can also visit the floating islands of the lake. This place is truly amazing for relaxing in nature and to find some new people to hang out with!
10. Eco-campsite ‘Fruška Gora’

This is a smaller campsite, but it’s amazing! It’s in the middle of a thick forest and it has more than 30 pitches for tents, and 10 pitches for caravans. They have all the needed equipment which will make your stay even more enjoyable. They also offer a place for workshops, a playground, a place where you can hang out with the other visitors, there are even BBQ spots! Pets are allowed, so if you want to spend some time with your whole family, this is the place for you! Some fresh air and a lot of fun will make your weekend here perfect!
